What is the difference between Invoices and WOs?
Work orders are what we intend to do on a given date; invoices describe work we’ve actually done and need payment for.
When are invoice created?
When you print the daily Route sheets.
Somehow I ended up with two copies of each Invoice from yesterday. How did this happen?
You probably printed the Route Sheet twice because of a schedule change. When you need to re-print your route sheets, holding down the shift key precludes the creation of the extra invoices.
Why do we have to post our WO data to the invoice record?

Do I need to print the invoice after posting?
No, in most cases. Most pest control operators leave a copy of the WO at the job site. And most people pay from that WO. But with some larger corporations and government agencies, a printed Invoice is required to be mailed in order to receive payment.
Does the account receivable system look into the WO or the Invoices?
Invoices. And only posted invoices are visible to the Payments.
