New Features in 3.0
- Back Buttons and Forward Buttons, (like in your browser) are now fully supported in PestaRoo.
- Customer Form Letters with custom formatting (Letter and PostCards). Unlimited number of letters with full merge and style capability for promoting your newest service. Old letter stored for reuse.
- Quotes and Invoices now can be sent via Email.
- Expense tracking and Expense Categories for small company accounting and recording your business expenses.
- Vehicle maintenance tracking. Allows you to maintain a complete record of all maintenance, costs, and servicing of your vehicle(s).
- Filtered value lists now protected from accidental entry. This is critical for users with large databases and remote access. Access to filtered drop-down lists requires a value in the filter field.
- Highlighting of active record in list views reduces errors.
- Excel style navigation on list layouts. Up arrows and down arrows move between records.
- Tab positions now retained when you switch layouts. So if you are looking at the Customer Stats tab through a set of records, the tab position stays on Stats.
- Tab labels now display in Find Mode. This makes Finding records easier.
- Images (pdf, png, jpg) can now be viewed and printed from within the image portals, without having to export them. Applies to Customers, Locations, Agreements, Agencies, Agents, and Staff.
- Product Usage Report. Breakout by county and Date Range
- PestaRoo now ships with all 40,000 US zip codes already installed, including counties, longitude and latitude. Also available to existing users at no cost.
- Support for multiple towns per zip code. If you have 2 or more towns for a given zip code, PestaRoo now displays a value list of those towns to pick from.
- Customer Stats enhanced for more searching. Now includes Blue Triangles for navigation
- All “Submit” notes now ‘autosubmit’, with no button to push.
- Search All Notes from Home Page lets you find any key word in any of 14 different notes or log fields. Single click navigation to any result.
- WO Portal that shows the other WOs for the current tech/date.
- Warning system from Schedule Book that alerts you if you create a WO with a scheduling conflict
- Hundreds of new tool-tips
- New Customer tab that lets you view all open WOs and search by that count.
- Import from PestaRoo_Runtime version allows these users to upgrade.
- Message One Large (a Home Page pref) has been expanded to allow two lines of text. This is frequently used to show promotional messages at the bottom of every Invoice and WO
- Window slide down and slide up improved to be smoother and more consistent for our Windows users.
- Numerous Mouse-over “I” icons through the software to provide more support info.
- Product Units automatically flow into Invoice Treatments from Products. Saves a dozen or more clicks a day. Makes posting invoices faster.
- Treatment Areas areas are now definable by PreSched and by WO. So the treatment areas that print on a WO for a hospital can be totally different from the list that print out on a residential WO.
